Scorch was launched by two senior level directors in the advertising media business, Ellen Kiyomizu and Jane Groft, who have each worked for 20+ years at top advertising and media companies (like Publicis & Hal Riney and Starcom). Their experience includes over 80 clients in multiple categories, both business to consumer and business to business. They have managed media budgets ranging from less than $1 million to over $600 million domestic and global. They provide a continuum of media service, from high level strategy and integration to media execution at any level of media spend.

Their experience includes leading media mega-mergers between diverse corporate giants, managing large national media efforts & teams, increasing cost efficiencies to yield millions of dollars in savings, developing econometric models to increase ROI, designing local media efforts in markets nationwide, and helping efforts of non-profit organizations.
During their most recent years working together, they won several national awards for Innovation, Client Service and Media Leadership (as acknowledged by AdAge, MediaWeek and the Jack Myers Report). They have reputations for developing and maintaining exceptional client service and partnerships. Jane was awarded 'Media Maven' in 2004 by AdAge recognizing the Nation's top media professionals; Ellen was awarded 'Woman Warrior' in Media/Communications by the Pacific Asian American Women Bay Area Coalition for her achievements and service to the community.
